Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across customer segments
Track, manage, and progress leads, RFPs, and tenders from discovery to closure
Own CRM updates, maintain pipeline, and basic sales reporting
Engage directly with customers and partners through outreach, follow-ups, and meetings
Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and customer-facing materials
Work with engineering and program teams to translate customer needs into solutions
Identify and apply for grants, funding programs, and strategic initiatives
Build relationships within the space and technology ecosystem
Represent HEX20 at industry events, meetings, and conferences
Drive visibility through outreach, industry platforms, and ecosystem engagement
Track market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity
Required Skills
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to independently manage leads and follow-ups
Basic understanding of sales cycles and business development
Comfortable working with CRM tools, Excel, and presentations
Strong research and opportunity-mapping skills
Ability to work with technical teams and grasp technical concepts
Organized, proactive, and execution-focused
Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup / scale-up environment
Nice to Have
Exposure to space, aerospace, deep-tech, or technology sectors
Experience with proposals, RFPs, or customer negotiations
